Dr Govind Kotha


Dr Govind Kotha is a very experienced Australian trained vocationally registered (VR) general practitioner with FRACGP qualification. Canberra has been his home for the last 8 years and he has worked in both Canberra and Goulborn in a number of general practices. He has also worked in UK and India both in Community and Hospital departments including Accident and Emergency, Surgical, Medical and all GP related specialties. With these skills he is well placed to provide the best care to his patients and the knowledge to run a general practice to the highest of standards.

He has a post graduation qualification in ENT surgery from India and also a Diploma in Child health (DCH) from Sydney University/Westmead Children Hospital.

He can easily handle all your general practice related illnesses including acute and chronic problems. His area of interests are paediatrics, chronic disease management (diabetes, hypertension, obesity, cardiac and respiratory disease), dermatology, mental health and women’s health.

He is also working as Medical officer for the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and also trained in HMAS Penguin in under water medicine so he is qualified and recognized as a DIVING Medical doctor for both defence and civilian personnel.


Dr John Egan


Dr John Egan is a very experienced and well known GP in Goulburn and surrounding areas of Canberra for many years. He is a qualified GP for almost 30 years now and has trained new GPs for more than a decade. He is a level 1 Superviser for GP Registrars in Canberra region for the last few years.

Apart from day to day GP work his particular experience / training includes antenatal care, obstetrics (five years as a GP obstetrician), emergency medicine (eleven years in a busy emergency department), psychiatric and psychological disorders (five years as a GP in a psychiatric institution) and education for young and not-so-young doctors. He has many other skills which are too numerous to mention. He also very experienced in skin checks and skin cancer removal follow- up treatment.
